2014 Inductees


Loren has been making history since her days at Naaman Forest High School. The 1998 graduate was a three-time 5A state champion in 100-meter hurdles and long jump. She also set the national record for the fastest time in 100-meter hurdles her senior year, and is still ranked among the top 10 fastest hurdle times in the state. In addition to her track and field accomplishments, Loren was also a four-time All-American cheerleader, Homecoming Queen and voted “Miss Naaman Forest.”

James Spencer, a 1980 graduate of Lakeview Centennial High School, was a standout athlete during his days as a Patriot. The versatile tight end and linebacker made the varsity squad as a sophomore. He was voted All-District linebacker as a junior, and during his senior year, Spencer was named first team All-District linebacker and tight end, a feat accomplished by no one else in the state. David Nanez, a 1982 graduate of North Mesquite High School, was an outstanding distance runner both as a junior and senior. His efforts proved successful as his cross country team qualified for state during his junior year, and became district champions his senior year. His team would ultimately place third at regionals and 11th at State.
